We are learning to:  follow instructions from a dance teacher to learn a dance routine.

Find an example of punctuation

Pause at a comma

Emphasise words followed by an exclamation mark

FIRESAFETY

WALT: identify what to do in the case of a fire.

We can do this when:  

• we communicate a plan to get out of a house that is on fire
• Identify how to stop a fire from happening

Student voice:  "I will wake up and wake up my brother. I will then go to my mum and dad - wake them out and we will go out the door."

Te Reo

Last Friday the students started their first session with Matua Rihari.

We sang a few waiatas and all the students were engaged with the singing and actions that went along with it.
